I have a stick steer boat and i have a 788 that I dont plan on getting rid of anyway, and he suggested why don't I put it up front with a 998 and use it for maps and, depth, and temp and use the full screen for si and di on the 998. Use the US2 on the TM for the 788 and put the ducer for the 998 in the back.
Looks like it'll work to me, what about you? I hope it does, since I've spent a day and a half installing all this..
And ur right, I need to clean the screen on the 788, but what to use?

That will work, gonna maximise the screen of that 998 that way.

That's what I do, move my 998 from the console to the front when I get where I'm going to fish. HB recommends regular Windex and it works very well.

I have a little spray bottle with water and about a teaspoon of dish soap. Cleans them up real nice. If you have the hard water spots, use a little vunegar with water.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!
Vinegar and water for water spots. If it's real bad soak a paper towel in it and just pat it down over the screen and let sit for a little while and wipe off with damp paper towel.

Looks great EZ... I would put my maps on the 798 and the SI full screen on the 998 while searching. Then I might split the 798 for maps/2D and put full screen SI will trolling. You can never have too much screen.
