We are just 30 feet from going over it now.

No I understand, but when it's this low, a couple feet ain't going to make much difference.

Tell thaat to the folks at Butla, dont remember what the 72 hour rise was but it was rediculous. 12 inches of rain ina little over 24 hours up river was tuff.

I checked the plot and it looks like it came up 8 foot, a heck of a rise.

I am not that familiar with Butla, but doesn't a big rain make it jump pretty fast?

Butla can jump up pretty quick depending where the rain falls, if there is 2in rain NE of HERNANDO in the coldwater water shed you can expect a 3 -4 or higher jump in Butla.Dont take a lot cause the lake is so shallow.
