Got my bearing kits today and when I installed them in the hub all went well. But when I installed the hub on the axle the seal was too small to allow the hub to go on all the way. I had to take axle to Napa and have them Mic the axle where the hub seal rides to get the right seal. $20.00 for both. Man that Napa know how is expensive....(singing) Napa know how Napa know how....![]()

Bad think about ordering the kit online is the only spec. They offer is the axle size. 1 1/16" straight. Doesn't say a thing about seal size or hub size...

I just get the numbers off of my old bearing, races, and seals........Then go to a Bearings and Supply store or Motion Industries and cross the numbers out and get my new ones. I always specify Timken bearings and races, and Chicago Rawhide ( C/R) seals.....all USA made.....costs a little more but well worth it.

#'s were gone..that would be too easy...I did get timken bearings but the seal is a Napa brand. Good thing is it has a spring and dual wipers.

They can mic the bearings and the race if the numbers are gone. You did good though.
