has anyone downloaded the Navionics app yet? I have been reading about it and I am really tempted to download it. I have read that it has all the state lake maps downloaded in it and it GPS your routes as you fish. I just wonder if it has the creeks and channels visiable? I may have to be the guiney pig for this experiment, but hopefully someone else has it and can speak to it's usefulness.

I have and yes it has all states and has the same info as the chip for depth finder. You can plug into laptop and plot a route and look at maps on laptop screen. Very cool app.

Yes it seems to have the same information as hotmaps. You can even save waypoints.

I guess my ulimate question is: does it show you exactly where you are at on the lake and clearly define underwater creek channels so that you are esentially using this app like a GPS? If so, I am about to download it, NOW
