WSSM and I were headed to Tibby yesterday morning and the boat came a loose from the truck, still dont know how. Passed us on the left, down into a deep ditch headed straight for a lite pole. Boat slid up to the lite pole barely bumping it. Backed the truck out onto the powerline, hooked back up and off again. Unreal that nothing or no one was hurt, Good Lord was looking after several of us yesterday it seems.
Looking at the hitch all I can figure is that the adjustment is too loose, will be fixxed before we try that again.
WOW!!! That's too close for comfort.

I was at Counce Marine in Memphis yesterday talking to the mechanic. He was working on a lower unit that the skeg and 1/3 of the gear housing had been ground off. Didn't see the boat, but he said a large area in the bottom below the transom was ground off.
The story is the JADA owner was headed to Tunica, crossed one of those ramp like RR crossings, and bounced his 1648 with a 40 HP off the trailer. Didn't have his transom straps on the boat. Looks like he drug at a mile or more before he noticed there was a problem.

Sat & Torch, I'm glad it all turned out good!!! I wasn't going to name names cause I bleed easy, didn't want to get cut.
It's always good for a laugh when somebody has a moment, but the thing is it makes us all thank, did I ckeck this what
About that??? It might save somebody from something really bad from happening. I almost had a Rees moment myself,
Hooking up the trailer in the dark I though it was good to go. I have a habit of feeling under the latch, sure enough it was
Sitting on the ball, could have been real BAD if I didn't stop and check.

It's fun to poke fun at people. But most everyone knows it's just a matter of time before they have a JADA moment too.
