    Anyone been fishing on arkabutla ? A friend and I are going to arkabutla next weekend. Just wondering how the slab fishing is going.

    The water is very, very low and most ramps are unusable at this time.
    I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

    Might outa stop at Reelfoot. Butla is way low right now.

    Should be plenty water next week, after this rain. Might be just a tad muddy though.

    I was there today when the rains came. The ramp at north end of dam isn't usable.

    A tad muddy might be an understatement. You won't need gps to keep up with trails just follow your tracks
