Just got back from fishing Dump. There's a ramp on the road. The road goes along the shore on south side of lake. Some good fishing in the lake early in the year and in the fall. Saw two big gators today. The big bull was kinda jumpy. Kept my distance from that dude.

dump lake, used to fish as a kid...good crappie fishing when its right. mossy, one of my favorite delta lakes.....going there sunday if the wind is too high for other places. i have caught many limits at mossy, and some are grenada sized crappie.....love the lake. horseshoe is my other favorite delta lake....caught lots of crappie there. its usually later than bee or mossy, but access is is limited for boat launching. HUGE bass are caught from there, some in the 10-12 lb range. joe and i caught 13 green carp there a couple years ago that weighed over 70 lbs, one which was 8+ that i mounted. pinchback in cruger is also a good crappie lake when it gets right......fished it a few times. no public boat ramps on pinchback.
