I made my first trip to Chotard a while back with some good info from a buddy on where to go. Sure enough.. the fish were there. Too bad they didn't cooperate. We caught one fish the whole day but man they where there big time... These images have crappie, gar, and all sorts of other fish in them. The schools that go vertically are usually crappie.





I did some scouting a few weeks back when the river in the REZ was way up... Found a huge group in some slack water in a river bend. It ended up being gar but it was loaded...
