    Angry Spillway Mixed Bag


    My dad, his friend and my uncle tried the crappie out at the spillway, and well......they found them. The 3 of them got their limit of crappie and also caught 83 catfish. The big fish was just shy of 3 lbs. they called me to come get a mess once I got off WORK. My dad was sure to give me a call everytime he pulled a big one in the boat. I am only 29 but I am ready to retire so I can fish with daddy, i am so jealous of them.

    It was on ross barnett. I figure today will be the last day of biting until the next big rain. It looked like water had dropped 12 foot since last weekend. One of these days i will be able to retire and fish during the week. I just wish i could do it with my dad. When i retire he will be gone, but i'm glad to see he is having so much fun with it.
