Default Aite, don't shoot the messenger

Been hearing rumors of giant fish coming from the spillway, 3, 4, 5 pounds. Even had a fella call me and ask if I heard anything about a 6 pound fish. My response is always "ain't seen a pic of it, have you?". I usually dismiss it cause I know good and well if I ever catch an honest 4 pounder, I won't mount it cause it will rot from me driving all over the state showing it off. If you live in TN, MO, AR and somebody knocks on your door at 2:32 am in March, you'll know it's me come to show you my 4 lb fish.

That said, this is Garth Huddleston with not one, but 2 4 pounders and a little 3 lb 13 ounce limit rounder. And no, they were not snagged. Cork and a jig from the bank. Talked to him this am myself. Didn't see the fish in person, but he said he weighed them on 3 different scales over the course of a couple of hours. No, I don't know what kind of scales. Caught the one fish one day and the next, the two fish in the second pic. Said the single fish could be rounded to 4 lbs 3 ounces but hes calling it 4 lbs 2 ounces.

    4 lbs 2 ounces

Left 3 lbs 13 ounces, right 4 lbs 2 ounces on the button.

All three were filleted along with a bunch of "little fish".

Hack no. 3.25 or bigger dang sho gets on my wall and if it's a purdy fish, 3 lbs does. I'm still kicking myself for not being quick enough (thanks to me typing that text) at the championship last year and nessa having that monster on the line. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Biggest crappie I'd ever seen

Hard to say what they weigh from a pic. Very nice fish regardless. I would have photographed and released back in the main lake, or if 4lb, would have mounted.
