No brackets, and went to autozone and looked at the shocks and I dont see how Im gonna mount the ones like they have, cant have a bolt sticking through the side of top as it wont let it close

Mount a metal "L" bracket to the under side of your lid .....then mount the ball mount for the shock to it. Use round head bolts and put them in from the top.

NAPA sells the ball sockets and 1 brackets for those things.
