    Default Outboard mounted trolling motor

Any of y'all ever tried one for long lining ? Trying to find an alternative to swapping out TM's. And not a fan of plates. Thanks in advance.

Never used one but talked to a guy couple of years ago that had one mounted on a 20ft pontoon and he said he loved it. It was single 12volt and hooked to 2 batteries. Said he could troll all day with it.

Ree. I have a minnkota a cable steer on there now. I have an electric steer I can swap to. Had my old boat rigged to go back and forth. And I'm wanting to try this as an alternative other than swapping or using a plate

I got ya, I use the V2 and like it witht he remote. However it is not enuff to pull cranks with all day as it is only 55 pound, most likely would long line all day tho. Have you looked at the Minn Kota Engine Mounts? Cheapest I have found for a 55 is areound 500.

Yeah they make a 80 24 volt engine mount. I want to try one but before I spend that kinda money I would prefer some info from folks that have used them ya know?

Seriously thinking about one before crank season gets here. They got a 101 on ebay used right now.

He said it was absolutely brand new and he will take $670. He bought it for his old boat and ended up getting a 22 ft Ranger.
