I know there's fixen to be alot of folks coming in from out of state and remember that on your YosYos
Yo-Yo Requirements:
All yo-yo's must have a waterproof or metal tag attached and visible above the water surface. The tags must contain the angler's full name and address. Yo-yo's must be attended on Lake Washington. Attended means devices must remain within sight of the angler during daylight hours.
That means you have to take them up at night EVERY NIGHT
Transporting Game
No person shall take in any one calendar day, no more than the daily creel or bag limit or bag limit of fish. No person at any time, by any means, or in any manner, transport more than seven (7) daily creel or bag limits of fish for each qualified angler present in the vehicle. A single angler may only transport his or her own limit(s) of fish, not to exceed seven (7) daily limits.

you know it Cuz. Figured I'd put it up cause there's always some that askl how many limits they can take hoime. I Do KNOW they gonna be checking folks this year on transport limits and I've talked to a couple wardens about checking peoples fish at the ramp this year. I heard a guy yesterday at the ramp saying he caught his 39 limit Saturday then called a friend to come pick em up so he could keep on fishing and catching. Said he got 2 limits yesterday. WHY would you want to do that?

No doubt ATM. That and It seems to me more people are crappie fishing these days so we have to keep an eye on this valuable resourse or our kids and grand kids will only have stories of really big Crappie

DD, I take it that the game wardens hear the homeboys voices about all the the OoS'er ( those to the north) coming down in the spring and camping out and hauling out freezers full of the crappie. This is the frist I've read of this. As far as the yo-yo's go, one of the guys I work with got a fishing award for not picking his up @ Midway back last year. He left his out all nite and the game warden beat him back the next morning.
Hump.
Why is it always the Out of Staters?

KNow a few that have Saw inside someones freezer in the past and there were thousands of filets. 4 people had a full sized box type freezer that was was slp full of only crappie filets. They came down to fill it and go back and sell the filets.
That's pretty bad right there but it's not just that, it's the folks that live here that get up in the morning during the spawn, catch their limit and then call someone to come switch coolers so they can go back out again. That's one thing that drives me batty. I was told by a warden you had to take them up each night unless you stayed out there with them and ran them.

nice post Don, them Oos ers and in staters alike should obey the laws,,, I can attest as a face I have hurt the under 6 fish limit several times, I never go to Mississippi to catch big fish, or lots of fish, I just like catching a buffet line when it short and the beer line when there cold, and visiting with the good ole boys and girls
