    Did you consider using the new quick release technology for your troller and lectronics? Looks like a couple of power cables, a couple of mounts, a ducer combined with a trolling motor quick release and you would be good to go using the equipment you already have and grown accustom to using.

    Look Yikees, that would require him to swap em out and give up some buffay time. Plus he werks fer the guberment and they makes lots of munny.

    Exactly what I'm doing, minus the trolling motor. One I have now is 24v, need a 36v for the Ranger. Everything else is pullin double duty. Still gonna cost around $500 just for ducers and wires though.

    i've not been on one but just looking at it and doing some siferin I bet it is going to fish great--and like you said--it will handle that rough water great. Mine sure does (Ranger 354v)
