    Default What a day yesterday!!!

Here's the deal. They got started on my wife's massive expansion yesterday. Well upon tying our new toilet drain into my septic system, we discovered it was literally full of DD. So I call to get it pumped ($200). After further inspection, it's ain't no septic tank. It's a treatment tank/plant. They asked where the air pump was and I tell em I threw it away shortly after movin in about 5 years ago cause it didn't werk. Heck I didn't even know what it was. And really didn't think I needed a motor plugged in to outlet, specially if it ain't werkin. The dogs had conveniently chewed the pipe off of it and I couldn't tell even what it went to. So come to find out, that pump is a vital part of this operation. ($435 vital). There's more.

Hey poo boy. Septic tanks are supposed to be full. That's how they're able to work.

Well after I figure out ima gonna hafta spend half of a terrova yesterday mornin, it gets better. My carpenter orders a load of pipe and fittings and stuff from this reputable pipe store in Columbus and I volunteer to go pick it up. He said to make sure I check the ticket to see that it's in his name so I'll get the contractors price.
Well I get there and they got everything except for two 4", 22.5 fittings. I ask reckon Marvins has em? He says, they should. I say, well $#|+, you SHOULD have em too, but you ain't. And he agrees. Anyhow, I look at the ticket and sure nuff, it's in my contractors name. I pay two hunnert and 60 sumptin dollers and head to Marvins. Well I get there and they had the 45's in the wrong box that said 22.5's. Didn't notice this til I got to the truck cause I was fuming by this point.
Right above the fittings was their 4" ten foot pipe. There's was $11.68. I jus bought some at this other pipe store fer $26.52 per stick. Well when I get to the truck to look at the other ticket, I realize I had jus bought 2 more 45's but they were about $11 cheaper than what I also had jus bought at this pipe store. So pissed off, I head to Lowes to get the 22.5's we need and their pipe was also around $12 a stick. Then my wife calls and tells me to go to the school to get my sick youngun. So I ain't got time to go back to the pipe store.

    There's more.

Hey Poo Man, not with a 2' layer of DD in the wrong chamber of this treatment station. Trust me. It needed it. The feller that pumped it said he ain't never seen that much DD in one.

Ok, I get home and tell my carpenter that I can't afford his discounts anymore and explain the above mentioned story. So we call a couple of more stores to make sure my eyes weren't deceivin me. Sure nuff. This pipe store is scaldin everybody. So he gets whizzed and carries all my fittins back to em and brings me back a pocket full of money. He also has em pull a ticket from his last job and he then proceeds to pay off and close his account.
I told my plumber this mornin that they better not put nuthin from these gewbers in my addition. So, if any of y'all gewbers are plumbers, and use this fancy pipe store in Columbus or Nader or Tupelo or meridian, or any other town they in, you better shop around.
