    And now I am gonna need sumpin to brace it. I measured from floor of boat to TM shaft & it is 18in if I remember correctly. Any suggestions ?

    EZ makes a support brace that would be perfect. Maybe he'll post a pic of it.

    Oh, BTW, you can't get credit for the TM instal WITHOUT PICS......

    Take schedule 40 pvc pipe that is bigger than the diameter of your trollin motor shaft and drill a hole in the side of the pipe that is the same size or a fuzz larger than your TM shaft. Cut the pipe in half across the hole you just drilled. It should wrap half way round your TM shaft. Cut it to the length that will let your TM stow completely. Then use a Velcro strap to hold TM and brace down.

    i used pvc too. but at the top i put on a "T" and cut it lengthwise. and velcrowed it down.

    I have one that EZ made works great and easy to install. Has a milled aluminum base that the pipe fits in, has a T at the top that has been split in half and a rubber lining......also comes with a great strap to cinch it all down with.
    I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
