    Default Lead ban

I've heard of the EPA wanting to ban lead from fishing tackle again. Which would make it hard on some of us. And from what I've read the replacement metal could be worse then the lead. I contacted Wicker and this is his reply.

Thank you for contacting me t o express your opposition to actions that could be harmful to wildlife . I am glad to have the benefit of your views on this issue.

Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) introduced the Hunting, Fishing, and Recreational Shooting Protection Act (S. 838) in the U.S. Senate on April 14, 2011. This bill would exempt hunting and fishing gear from regulation by the Environmental Protection Agency. Currently, the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee is considering this legislation.

B e assured I will keep your views in mind as Congress con siders legislation affecting our nation's wildlife . Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can ever be of assistance.

    With best wishes, I am

    Sincerely yours,
    Roger F.Wicker
    U.S. Senate

So we need to contact our senators and congressmen, let them know how to vote.
