which I am to assume that would be rods & reels but does it include electronics ? all I had on my old boat was just the boat, motor and trailer. I want to make sure that my fishing stuff and for sure my electronics is covered if not in the policy itself

I have everything insured on my boat, not just the boat, motor, and trailer. Everything is included, but you do have to be specific with your agent cause you have to put a replacement cost on everything, the troller, sonar(s), rods, reels, tackle, on-board chargers, etc.
Most boat insurance comes with a personal property section. Mine is $2500.00 with a $250 deductible. I'm fixing to add another property rider to cover my new electronics. You might start a poll and see what is the most favored boat insurance. Mine is State Farm. If you are a vet, call USAA, they have the best rates.
Know I got a $150,000 in case someone gets hurt and tries to sue me. Course they won;t be alive to sue me cause I'll shoot em if they try it
