Any electricians on here? My electricity is acting up. First, my microwave quit working right. It gets real dim when it is on and does not heat properly. Then all the light in the house started flickering. Then one group of light got real bright when the frig cut on. So I turned off all the breakers and turned them back on. I turned the den lights on first then the rest of the breakers. The den lights are super bright and the rest of the lights in the house are dim. I don't know what is going on.
Is it the ground wire connection? I called my neighbor and they are not having any problems and no flickering at all. It has got to be something in my house. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like the problem may be at the meter base. Possible connections inside the meter base. Your losing voltage somehow.

Sounds like you are losing your nuetral. Very possible from the transformer to your crib, therefore it'd be the lectric co's problem. I'd call them first since it's free

Didn't he say that his den lights were very bright and the rest of the house was dim. Sounds like one circuit is getting too much voltage and the rest of the house too little. The very first thing I'd do would be to unplug the microwave. If they go wacky, they can draw juice even when not running. Hope you get it fixed quick. You got a bad situation. Good luck.
