Default Recessed trolling motor pedal insert

I'm looking at a new boat and it has a recessed trolling motor pedal. I want the deck to be flush. Has anyone else run into this problem and if so how did you fix it. Are there store bought inserts that fit the cut out?

Can't say that I've seen any advertised, but the factory might have a solution. Then again, shouldn't be that hard to gin one up out of plywood and 2x4 braces and cover in carpet.

If it's a Ranger you can get a cover for it. We ordered one for like 20 bucks. It might fit all kinda boats since they are prob. the same.
