Default Ok need some input on this new combo that I am trying :)

Need real thoughts on this color combo, is it favorable for Crappie in most lakes ?? I dont want to waste time and baits on any combo that the masses dont think will produce I know you cant be sure but there are many crankbait pullers on here that have way more time on the water than me, I just have color combo's come to my mind and then I set down and try to paint them, so I enjoy painting but baits and blanks cost and hate to ruin a new blank or bait with a non-productive color. what my plan with this type bait is to push it since it has a very short flat bill, thought that would be the best way to get it deeper if needed. Just let me know your thoughts just need to find out if you all think it will be effective. Thanks maachuu

I truly believe that bait will catch fish and a lot of them. If the craw design doesn't do it, the colors will. I know that bass feed on crawfish and I would think a white crappie would too. Heck, they'll feed on anything they can get in their mouth. You just need something to entice the bite. The wobble, the rattle, and bright colors will do that. Great job on those baits Larry.

heck yea it will work! 2 years ago on the tombigbee we hammered the crappie using plastic 1.5 inch craws on our jig heads so they definitely munch on them.

I know that the blk/chart color combo worked great for me all last yr on my home lake. Nice looking CB.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Forgot to mention that most of the crawdads are brown and reddish orange. As far as those short lipped cranks go if you are going to be pushin them they should be fine.
