Big H, There is a guy I work with at NIKE that said he was there last weekend the water was real high and a guy that was in there before he got there had a stringer of big crappie out of elbow.He said he fished those 2 stakebeds for a while but the guy before him had done the damage. He did manage to catch 3 big crappie snagging! Good Luck!!!

Put your boat in and go down stream good fishin down there , most of the folks that fish in elbow are ex swamp people.
