Flanger, what about wrapping the paper around a closed cell kitchen sponge? How would that be? I looked at sanding blocks, but they seemed so unforgiving they would give you trouble in corners and curves but would do well on flat, liking surfaces.

be very carfull when sanding corners or ridges......its easy to sand too much on those areas

Going with pro-tec sealer instead of wax then bassboatsaver for maintenance. I've used pro-tec stuff before. Very, very good.

Stick with the hardest block that will work. The 3M company makes a sanding block that is more flexible and can be cut to whatever shape you need. Whatever you use, remember to use the palm of your hand to apply pressure.Quote:
