I have rode in two javelins before they are not the best riding boat but do seem to be pretty stable. Only thing i see that i do not like is it is powered by an envinrude. That is my opion and you know what they say about opions

If it was in excellent condition like they say it could be a good deal. Seemed to me they played up the looks a bit much. I would have wnated to see more info about the motor, electronics, deck, etc (its 13 years old). I would think it would have at least a 150 on it. Do you know the model? But if it IS in good shape and runs well-it will be a decent fishing boat.
Great boats just too small, my 17.5 is too short for my liking. Winter aint even got started good, gonn a be some good deals on big boats I hope!!
Good Luck Larry, hope your feeling better!!

If it is a such a great boat & he just don't have time to use it ????? Why---- is he willing to trade?????????????
Watch out!!!!!!
Evinrude didn't become a dirty word until the ficht and again more recently. IMO most of the older non-fichts are work horses. A 90 wouldn't be a speed demon on that rig though. Might be worth taking a peek at if it's local to you

Looks good. BUT!!!!!!! Buyer beware.
Thanks guys, Rees, I was thinking that I wanted to move up to at least a 17.5 or 18 when I make the move (that way I dont have to build a new shop). I think I want to stay aluminum and I want either a Yamaha (1st choice) or Merc motor, 90-115 will suit me just fine. Just was lookin around on craigs tonight and saw that, will continue to look more. I completely in the buyin mood just yet anyway unless a jam up deal comes around. Think I will try to find a used boat and not bite the big bullet on a new since I dont get to fish as much as I would want
thanks
yea feelin better John, I have to stay in the 17.5 to 18 ft range in order to stay in my shop LOL cant build new shop for sure and buy a boat, dont really need another boat, just want longer and deeper boat than what I have, will feel better out on the water than I do with the one I have. of course I see folks out there in 14ft 36wide everyday I fish, I cant do that, couldnt get up and move around at all cuz my butt would be sucked so tight to the seat I would be attache LOL
