Dern, forgot about the water pump. They should be replaced annually. This is a do it yourself deal if you're inclined and have $50 to $75 for parts. Big motors, you're gonna need a spare set of hands to remove and handle the LU. If it's a dealer deal for you, you're looking at $100 to $150 prolly for a full sized mota (What you think BRM?). All Mfgs recommend replacement at 100 hours or annually, whichever comes first. About 85% of us don't have a water pressure gauge and rely on looking at the water being shot out. Here, the catch is, yeah, water is coming out, but is it under sufficient pressure? Over time, the pump gear takes a set and pressure decreases slowly and gradually. It's unusual to have a vane seperate and it stops working all of the sudden, but that happens as well. It's best to replace the pump annually, but if you just have to push it, at least replace it every other year. If you go over 2 years, you're ignernt and should be darwinized from the herd.
PS, if this is a dealer deal, now is the time to get it done. Don't be one of "them idjits" that shows up at the dealer on March the 11th and says "I need a water pump. Can I pick it up this afternoon?" Dealers hate that, especially when you're the 107th person to do it on the same day. Just ask BRM. He'll tell you.
