What thrust trolling motor needed to pull cranks out of a 18ft nitro

An 80# would work as well but you will need two group 31's to go with it. Most try to go up to the 101# if they can afford it and have the room for the third battery with 18 footers on up.

Realistically, how long will 2 group 27 batts last pulling cranks using a 24v. trolling motor running at 3/4 speed during a fairly still day? Also, how fast is a common speed for pulling cranks?
I've got an 18' Stratos boat and I used to use a 24v Powerdrive trolling motor. It was 70# thrust and I could get around 4 hrs. of crank pullin out of a pair of group 27 Wal Mart batteries. I troll at 1.6 to 1.7 mph usually. I've now upgraded to a 101 lb, 36v Terrova.

I have a 18 foot Skeeter and my 12v motor guide at 52lb does pretty good.

With buying the HDS's from torch buget low so will more than likely go with a 24 v 70 and good batteries for a season or so
