I've got one that goes into the end of the barrel. I had my rifle in a vise and placed it in there and when you spin it in the barrel, the laser dot on the wall moves in a circle. Not very accurate. I would think that the laser cartridges that you place in the chamber would be better. Still any of them would just hopefully get the bullet on the paper.

What Scott says......they just save some shooting and get you on paper.....you will still need to site in by shooting at a target.

Redhead (bps) has a bore sighting kit that will put you in the ten ring. 3 or 4 shots and you are zero

The ones that go in the chamber are good--the one's in the end of the barrel are not. If the scope is mounted correctly I actually like the old tasco bore sighters.
But all is just for getting on the paper. Good luck
