Default Had some fun this afternoon

Carried my Barger Feist out for a couple of hours of squirrel huntin. He's only 17 months old and is treeing up a storm. He treed 4 times, killed 2, one timbered out that I couldn't find again and one I just couldn't find the squirrel. The one that timbered, the dog stayed with it the whole way, but I kinda got hung up in some briars. Anyway, I am really pleased with his progress.

I know that's a lot of fun. My rat terrier will run them up a tree but then she's through with them. I've heard that a Barger was the best squirrel dogs.

One fine looking animal right there Bro. LOVE eating tree rats. Dad used to cook them in a stew WHOLE and then pull out a teaspoon and smack them in the head to eat their brains
