Well said Feelay. Why play to lose?

If you ain't going for first place, you might as well save your money and fun fish.
Yes, winning is extra special (I've won one), but it would be a shame to think that these tournaments was not for the fun of it. I've noticed that Feelay doesn't participate in the Fir nite talegate cookouts, that's a big reason I fish with MCC. Carl, you might get a different perspective if you joined in the social aspect of it.
I have feshed green carp tourney's in a semi-big way and it aint all that fun. The day fun is gone I will be out, quit fishing completely other than spring crappie fishing when I got burnt out. Dont get me wrong, when on the water I am gonna fish as hard as I can to get my limit and hope to start culling but I wont be ill at the weigh-in cause I got my butt handed to me. I fully intend to win some FJ Jar's next year but if 'n I dont I will be at the next one.
This is from a non-member. Your fruit jars are far toooooo competive. It's supposed to be a fun tournament. If your that competitive fish with the big boys. Your Fruit Jars should be for braggin rights. MCC might be a little different. I fished BASS for 11 years, and got sick of it. Fishing shoud be fun, especially at your fruit jar levels. Keep it fun guys.. See u next fall.
Hunter, the Championship you witnessed is the most competitive tourney we have and yeah it was all business. The willingness to help and the welcome I was afforded earlier this summer sold me on the Crappie.com Fruit Jars. Good folks and good times for sure. I fished water this year that I havent ever crappie fish and it was because of the guys and gals here, just that simple and I hope it will stay simple. I have more fun at dinner on Friday night than I do during the tourney, fellowship is what it is about for me.
I agree that it's all about the fun and fellowship, so next year just mail me yer checks, and have all the fun and fellowship ya want. ;-).
I agree with Hunter also it's really about the bragging, and the ribbin rights. The only problem with that is you have to win to get the rights.
Feelay, Feelay, Feelay!!!
Just havin fun and fellowship, and as usual tryin to be funny!!!! LOL
