Man, that's a huge boat right there. 22 footer? Good grief man. Questions about Rangers, how shallow of water can one that size run in? What about handling while spider rigging? Getting around in a stump field?
There is no better crappie boat than a 522! It handles the wind better than any boat I have fished out of.
Know they sit low in the water so less wind resistance and getting pushed around. That's the ONLY bad thing about my boat. Sits so high the wind catches it. I was just thinking with a 22 foot boat it'd be tough getting around in stumps and such. Guess they don't draft much either
I'm thinking, sell the merc and buy the New 16k dolla Yammaha SHO that is for sale on the Knoxville Craigslist.
Hey Holic he has a CLEAN pantera III for cheap
Hollic, I'll sell you this one for $18K. Heck, for another $500, I'll deliver.
Bass Cat 2001 JAGUAR
So, just how big a feller are you anyhow?
DD, a 522 will draft slightly less than your boat now at rest and on pad, I'd guess about 6" less. It's a big boat. 21' 10" and I think the beam is 96", so fishing tight timber would be rough. Doubt you'd see many over on Columbus for that reason...But Ross Barnett, Grenada, Enid, Sardis they'd be king except in the spring.
