If you had a chance to design a rod for spider riggin, single poling and casting, how would you build one? Is there a perfect rod out there?
I know I like the Capps & Colemans for spider riggin and the Sam Heatons for single poling and I use a Kistler for casting.
For example, my Kistler rod has the perfect action, but the handle is almost too big.
The Capps & Coleman rods, in my opinion, needs to be a tad stiffer. Not like the PST's, but just a little more back bone.

Is price a factor in your decision on what rod to purchase?
If the rod was made In the USA, would this influence your decision to buy one?
What would be a decent warranty in your eyes? Would you pay more for a rod if it had a better warranty?

These are just a few questions I would like some serious responses on.
