Last year, the Barnett C.Com guys had a fall mini-camp on the Saturday after Veterans Day. We had a little fruit jar tournament and had a BIG cook-out afterwards. I was trying to get it going again on the same date as last year but MCC is having a tournament on Chotard that day and the next week-end is opening day of Bambie Season and the next is Thanksgiving week-end. How would you folks feel about having a mini fall camp on Barnett on December 3rd. We can do things as we did last year with one exception: There is a Veterans Home in west Jackson. I think it would be great for all of us to join in and invite the ones that can get around to come join us for a hot meal of crappie, Scott's puppies, fries and etc.. We could get the girls to decorate the Browns Landing Pavilion with US Flags and so on. Rather than door-prizes for the fishermen, we can ask folks for clothing items . Let's make this happen!! The fish will be holding on the ledges and this will be a good opportunity for some MCC pre-fising.
