    Default Wildlife Officer ?

Some of you know me,but being from NC I was wondering if your officers regurally check livewells,or whatever your fish are in.Here they are only interested in bui not size or creel limits. We are having a discussion on our off topic as what would be the best way to improve crappie size and population.I have fished in Miss. and know first hand y"all got some gooduns.

I've been checked 3 times in the last 2 years....license, size and numbers. I cleared it 2 out of 3, which that say ain't bad in the song, but it sure felt bad at the time. Interestingly, in the 10 year prior, I was checked once. I think they have figured out I'm getting better and am more of a threat.

Here on the river, they pretty much just interested in license. Heck with a 9" limit and 30 fesh limit, that would require too much werk for these lazy jokers.

The last time I was checked was in Aberdeen by two officers (both of whom I knew) in 2008. They checked Quantity and size. Was very thorough.

not gonna mention the north miss coe lake by name but on two occasions there were two wardens parked at the top of the ramp and never ask me nothing nor anyone else that was loading out while i was there. a little laxed IMO especially when i spend my money that partially pays their salary to be legal in every way.

If you are fishing on a Saturday the first or second week of April, there is a good chance you'll be checked. I get checked on average, about 3 times a year.
