It hasn't been that long that they removed the boat sheds behind the pavilion. I remember them. Nothing else.

Holic, those look to be on the water not the sheds that were taken down a couple of years ago, look at where the ramp is.

I remember the floating gas dock, but not the sheds. At one point, there was a bait shop, boat storage, a hotel, restaurant and a ski jump in front of the beach area too. It was quite the destination back then.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
Now you mention it, I remember the motel. The state owned it and the game wardens lived there.
I remember the sheds and the gas pumps. My dad would *))(& when we would pull the ski boat up and pay .05 more for gas than it was in town. I think it was like 35 or 40 cents a gallon.

Rees, I see now. What happened to everything? I bet Vic can tell you.
I dont know, got a little time on my hands with the rain, think I am gonna go down to the visitor's center and see if they have some more pics of it and maybe find out what happened. My father-in-law fished it from day one but I dont remember him saying anything about the boat sheds on the water. Wish he were still with us to ask, RIP ole man.
