All you gotta do is make sure you launch just before Hollic. When you step off the ramp onto the boat, before you push off, set a chocolate cake, A strawberry cake, a carrot cake, and a pecan pie on the ramp right at the water's edge. Then boogie to your fishing hole. It'll distract him for about 15 minutes until he polishes the last bite off then about lunch, he'll get that rumbling.....you know the one. This way you'll get 15 minutes extra fishing time on him to start with, a good hour about lunch, plus he'll be sluggish the whole time.
