How do you get to Choctaw landing. I've never put in anywhere but the main grenada landing.

dd, stay on 8 past the spillway turn, go o nto gore springs, you will see a blinking light. take a left and go across greysport bridge, and keep following the road, i think it bears to the left. you will see a sign that says choctaw, and you take that left turn. it is a LONG , winding, bad road til you get to the landing.

i would put in at piney woods, straight across the lake from carvers point, and slowly head to the north bank.

DD, after you cross the Graysport bridge you'll turn left at a big sign that says Parkers, go past Parkers and The Yellow Rose and there will be a sign to the left for Choctaw. 2 miles of the worst road you have ridden on but if you go slow you'll be fine. That parking lot is small, maybe 25 or so slips to park in.

Thats a good idea, DD's boat handles the water good anyways.

The road to Choctaw is terrible. You might be able to put in at North Graysport, but I do not know if there is enough water for a North Graysport launch. You can put your bost in and idle to Choctaw and get to the landing quicker by water than if you take that crappy road and put in at Choctaw.

you can put in at youngs and just go under the bridge but with that kind of wind you can load the boat.
