went to ferguson yesterday ans saw thousands of asian carp..............

dead and floating. there were hundreds at the landing, and countless thousands all over the lake. also, the carp were on top of the water swimming all over the lake, in what seemed like hundreds of thousands as far as you can see. you could not throw a lure anywhere without spooking what seemed like 5-6 carp at any given spot. at one point, there were carp swimming and splashing as far as you can see. we had a couple almost jump in the boat while the boat was sitting still. i have been fishing ferguson a long time, and have never seen anything like it. i just hope they dont ruin the lake. i dont know how the population got so big in just a short time............theres no telling how many MILLIONS of carp there is there now.

my buddy told me last week he saw the same thing going on at tunica. hundreds of dead and floating asian carp. his bro in law sent a message to mdwfp and they were looking into it.
