Default To box or not to box?

I am in the process of putting a Bass Tracker 185 back together and I am down to putting the rod boxes and center storage back in. I got to thinkin that mabey I'll leave them out so there will be more room for a cooler and minnow bucket. What do yall think on this? Its gonna cut down on my deck space but as it was there was no room for anything other than what would fit into the compartments.

You want a box, but not near as far back as a rod box goes. I say cut it down by half at least. More floor space is more better.

Who you gonna listen to? G and Sat - aka psuedo intermelectionals or the highly skilled and highly refined boat consultation team of Minner and Wannabe?

And before you answer, realize this could very well be the defining moment of your entire life.
