and he said it sounded like the control panel. That's about $100 plus labor. guessing about 200 total then. Taking it in the morning

On the terrova. At Sardis when I'd hit the co pilot to turn right, it would speed up. I FINALLY got it turned off and finished the day out pulling with the big motor and Trolling plate. I thought it may have been the battery in my co pilot so I replaced it. I lowered the motor down in the back yard and turned it on. It came on fine but when I tried to turn right or left or spped it up, It wouldn't do anything. then POOF, I heard a singeing sound and a puff of smoke came out of the base

What warranty? Got it from Brad Taylor used. Art did say it sounds like the control panel so that was one of the cheaper things that could have happened. Taking it to his shop in the morning
