I keep hearing them "we killed 'em" reports too, then you ride out to Grenada Landing on a low wind day and you see one pontoon boat at the ramp.........I think we're being hoodwinked.

Somebody may be killing them, but it ain't me. I went Saturday afternoon and into the night to try pulling cranks around dark and then doing some night fishing later. It SUCKED, probably worse than Salty jig charters . Not even a bite. I was reminded why after April, I don't even try to crappie fish.
    GRENADA LAKE = DEAD SEA.

Ya'll catch 'em all before next spring so I will not have to fish for them. It would really make my wife happy.

Summertime Crappie Fishing to me is the equivalent of sitting in a convection oven, watching the grass grow.
