for minner buckets, should I just get the one with the batteries or get one that I can wire into my boat batteries ? and what kind is the most dependable, when me and my son went with Feelay I notice he had them on both his buckets but I cant remember the brand.

I use a Cool Bubbles. It comes with an aerator but I also installed a 12 volt one on my boat to save D cell batteries. 12 volt is more quiet also.

I use Marine Metal Products 5 gal Stick Areator. You can order the stick and the top from BPS or Cabela's and use any 5 gal. bucket you wish. It comes with allegator clips but I replace mine with a male 12v plub. You can install a female adapter real easy. I keep minners alive for days. Well worth the money. The stick I am using is 4 years old. I do carry 2 extras just in case. Don't like messing with batteries.
