Default Not my best day and it sho hurt

I was doing great, catching fish every few minutes and then the unthinkable happened. ouch, ouch, ouch. there i sat by myself and couldn't get that thing out no way. finally gave up and headed to the bank. not a lot of fun loading a boat with one hand. got it done and headed home. got to minor emergency just before they closed at eight. they must have known i was gonna scream like a school girl so they saved me for last. cutting that dude out had me climbing the wall. tetna shot and finally got outta there at 930 , home, batteries charging, and headed back out at daylight thirty.

Shoulda watched hook removal on You Tube. I pulled a treble hook out of my wife's finger a month or so ago, and she never flinched. It's easy, and quick. NO DOCTORS NEEDED. Just a piece of braid. The barb is no problem. My wife's finger hardly bled. I did cut the other two hooks off the treble, and removed the crank from it.

I feel your pain. Last year we were trolling cranks, and we use a long pole holder in the back that holds four rods. My husband had hung a crank bait on it. Well needless to say I step over the holder to get a rather large crappie in the boat and when I stepped back over the holder I hung the crank with my toes. Then before I realized what I had done I stepped on it. Not only did I hook one toe - I got the one next to it too!! Guess thats what I get for fishin barefooted. Nothin like a trip to the ER in Grenada.
