    Default Old Planter Help

I have an old old 2 row mule planter. I converted it to a 3 point hitch but need some replacemet parts. I need some chain, and this chain looks like it was made by a blacksmith.

Can the sprockets be changed out to accept different chain?

Sounds like what you need is either and old blacksmith or a new planter.

How about a pic of the chain? and measurements of the width and link length, possibly the roller diameter would be useful also.

There's some Mennonites/Amish communities out west of here, Rogersville/Springfield area, that can make about anything for those old implements and such. Plow points, horseshoes, harness hardware, double and single trees, etc. very handy folks. Don't know if they would have a store online though. :D

I know a guy that lives here close that goes out that way, regular-like, and finds them a lot of that type of equipment. Might be able to find something.

There is also an Amish community south of Pontotoc in Randolph.
