Why don't you give the MDWFP a call and ask the bioligist ....... Having eggs does not neccesarily mean they are spawning I don't think.........I think spawning is when they lay the eggs and then the males fertilize them and I really do not think that is happening this time of year.Quote:

I caught crappie every other day last week, tyvm. Granted they aren't in the size range you dewds catch, but they are plenty good for me. Those crappie are on the menu for tomorrow night. Last night it was catfish. Tonight it will be burgers, sliced maters and corn on da' cob! Pfffft
