    Default A/C woes


    Got to work about 6:30 a.m. "MY" half of the building was 78 degrees. A/C running but no cold air. Compressor isn't kicking in. Now it's 79


    Sweet talked the A/C dewd to put us at the top of his list and he just left after fixing the bldg's 2nd unit. Should be feeling a difference soon!

    My heart goes out to those who don't have A/C or can't afford to run it. I heard on the news this a.m. that another guy working outside died from the heat in Pettis Co. this week. Been quite a few deaths already.

    CN come on down here to the cold storage where I work. It's a comfortable -10 F in the freezer and +40 F on the docks.Thumbs Up

    By the looks of the weather map, I think y'all are having it a lot worse than we are down here CN. This has been a weird weather year.

    Usually we'll have 3-4 days in a row and then a break of 3 or 4 days but this year it just won't quit. But I have nothing to complain about, I have A/C in truck and house and can still afford to pay the elec bill. Feel so sorry for those that don't have it or can't afford to run it.

    The wharehouse part of my store is not AC'd. I run back and get a part and get back to the AC. I took and infra red reading yesterday at 4 an it was 146 back there.

    Just a bit warmer and you could bake back there. You certainly don't want to accidentally lock yourself in there or fall and get knocked out!
