Now that I think about it.....I've seen this episode of Dorf Goes Fishing before.
Those unconnected wires are for additional gauges. That's why they are not hooked up.
On your oil tank, you're not missing a part of the fill cap (yellow), you're missing a vent cap (black) on the rear of the tank...the small one. You're problem is the oil sensing unit, which only senses the presence or lack of presence of the oil, not whether it's flowing or whether the pump is working.
Simple Green mixed 1 to 4 with water will work wonders on those oil leavings.

Thanks guys. Already got a brand spankin new gallon of oil at the crib. Ima get home tonight and see if the caps in there, if not, I'll MAKE it work. then gently tap on the sides of the tank to see if it'll get right. If not, I'll add the oil to the gas. WHO do ya'll reccomend to fix the problems I have? Lecttical stuff included. Don;t want to take it to 2 different chops to get int done. One stop shopping kinda like a Beer store that sold Friend chicken and Blue towels LOL
