    Default Cowboy's Tip

I'm going to tell ''all'' of yall where 7 crappie are that will win the Sardis tournament.
In the timber, fishing single pole on the shady side, with very lively oxygenated minners, or spider rigging thru the timber with oxygenated minners.
Nothing against cranksbaits guys, they will catch there share, but hot weather will put the big ones in timber up river, holding tight on the trees.
That will eliminate having to pull crankbaits all over Sardis trying to find them. A good single pole fisherman, can win this tournament in the timber, by rubbing the bark off the standing timber.
That's how I would fish it, if the wind woundn't let me single pole, then I would spider rig in the timber.
It would be a good ride up there from Beach Point, but it would be worth it. I use to commercial fish Sardis and seen big crappie in there during real hot weather like this.
That's my hot tip of the month......Thumbs Up
