I fished this morning 7: 30 til 11:00 and caught 8 decent size crappie,and 1 green carp using jigs. We have 7 private lakes here, and no body hardly fish's for crappie here.
The lakes here are deep, and some what clear, with some green color. You have to fish deeper when it's bright and sunny, caught these around 18 feet in 38 fow.
I might try fishing off a dock tonight, and take a battery and couple lights.
