I'm like Mrs Speck. I don't care fer the veniggar based sauces.
What I do Is take a bottle of cattlemans and put grape jelly in it and cook it down. Also add some crushed red pepper to it.

I like a tomato based sauce. Sweet baby Ray's is my choice, no doctoring needed.

+1 on sweet baby
+2 on Sweet baby Ray's but at times I'll cut it with abit of my Home made Pepper sauce. Adds a real good kick to it for something different. Speck, try that some time man. Bout 2/3's Sweet baby Rays and 1/3 parts of Pepper sauce

I will also add pineapple juice, dales, liquid smoke, and some chipotle mustard to mine sometime
Speck, you might try Wickers BBQ sauce. It is vinegar based but has other spices in it. I soak ribs, roast and everything in it for several days and then smoke it.
