    Default Aw ite boat Guru's

Still tweeking on the Glasstream. Motor is running awesome, knock on wood. Here's what I know: trimmed out about 2/3's the way and at about 2/3's trottle, these are guesses but close as I have trimmed all the way out at reduced trottle and have maxxed the throttle with it trimmed down, it is turning 6200 rpms running about 57 mph.
What I call max on the trim is throwing a small, no higher than the top of the motor, roostertail. When I max the throttle and start trimming I get no where near all of the trim before the boat wants and does come completely out of the water.
I feel that it still needs to be lowered some more and that the pitch on the prop needs to go up as well. Prop is 4 blade 14 x 26. Boat has no trouble coming out of the hole at this time so I dont believe increasing the pitch will hurt the holeshot.
    Wish I knw of someone that had a 14 X 28 4 blade or a 14 X 30 3 blade I could try.
    Thanks guys.

Give me a little more about your boat and motor, like size, hp, etc.. I'll call a guru tomor and ask his opinion... 6200, wow, hope it don't blow the cowling off....

Ouch. Ain't no way your gonna get off cheap looking for a 30 inch wheel. Onliest one around I know that would have a fanblade that big would be tim mcdaniels if you know him. Pretty sure hes running something along those lines on a merc.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

18ft Glasstream fish and ski with 200 Merc, wanting to run the rpm's around 5800 but have a couple of friends that used to race the black max's and both say it will handle 6800 all day long. Not where I want to be tho, not real interested in screaming down the lake so much as just want it performing at it's best, getting about 6 miles to the gallon now which I dont really feel is all that bad.
